Cialis belongs to a class of drug known as phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (PDE5i). It is a type of drug that is used to treat erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is available in four doses: 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg. Although the doses of 2.5 mg and 5 mg are approved for daily use in the treatment of ED, the 10 mg dose is approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Your doctor may prescribe lower doses as needed, starting from 20 mg per day. You may achieve daily use of up to a year depending on age and on the severity of erectile dysfunction. If you experience difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection, your doctor may recommend taking it. Starting and tapering treatment will depend on the specific dosage, but your doctor will decide the best time to start and stop the treatment. For patients with ED that is not completely resolved within a few years, the original treatment may be resumed. For patients that are still effective, your doctor may recommend a lower dose. For example, in patients with moderate to severe ED that is not fully treated, the lower dose may be a better choice. Your doctor may prescribe a lower dose if you do not get ED regularly, or in some cases, you need to start your dose at a lower dose and gradually increase your dose. Lower doses may help with ED that is not fully treated. Your doctor may prescribe up to a 10 mg dose in some cases. Starting with the lower dose, your doctor will gradually reduce your dose until you get the desired erection. If your dose is not effective for you, your doctor may recommend taking it. The treatment plan should include lifestyle changes as well as the use of medicines such as oral phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors (PDE-5i).
Cialis contains the active ingredient tadalafil and the pharmacist indicated the dose of 2.5 mg to 5 mg. Your doctor may prescribe you up to a 10 mg dose. Starting with the lower dose, your doctor will gradually increase your dose until you get the desired erection. For patients with ED that is not fully treated, or that does not get fully treated within a few years, your doctor may prescribe up to a 20 mg dose. Starting with the higher dose, your doctor will gradually lower your dose until you get the desired erection. Your doctor recommends up to a one-year treatment. When starting Cialis, take it at least 30 minutes, before the sexual activity. The maximum daily dose is 20 mg, which can be increased to a maximum recommended daily dose of 20 mg if necessary. Cialis is not recommended to be taken more than once daily at any time in 24 hours. Cialis can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, blurred vision, and muscle pain. If you experience any of the conditions listed above, your doctor may not prescribe Cialis. Before starting treatment with Cialis, your doctor should determine whether or not you are currently allergic to it. If you have had an allergic reaction to Cialis or any other ingredient of this medicine, do not take it and do not stop taking Cialis without consulting your doctor. If you are considering starting treatment with Cialis, you must talk to your doctor about the best time to start treatment with it. Cialis may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, and affect your vision. If you experience sudden changes in vision or other vision changes, stop taking Cialis and call your doctor right away. Cialis can cause an allergic reaction. If you notice any side effects such as changes in skin rashes, hives, or difficulty breathing, let your doctor know. Cialis may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, and blurred vision. You should not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how Cialis affects you. Cialis may cause a sudden decrease or loss of hearing. If you notice any of the following symptoms, stop taking Cialis and call your doctor: loss of consciousness, seizures, confusion, fast or irregular heartbeat, fast or pounding heartbeat, severe headache, sudden breathing problem, vision changes, hearing loss, and prolonged erections. Cialis may cause sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes (NAION) or NAION (a sudden decrease or loss of vision). If you notice any of the following side effects, stop taking Cialis and call your doctor: headache, flushing, runny nose, blurred vision, dizziness, blurred vision, fainting, trouble sleeping, increased sweating, fast or uneven heartbeats, prolonged erections, and priapism (a painful erection lasting more than four hours).
Cialis may cause other side effects. If you notice anything unusual, contact your doctor right away. You may need urgent medical attention.
Pfizer has announced it will pay $1.5 billion to settle allegations that the company failed to disclose its pricing for its erectile dysfunction drugs, Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) said on Tuesday.
The settlement, which includes $1.5 billion in a class-action lawsuit filed in U. S. District Court in Pittsburgh, will cover $3 billion in cash, $3.9 billion in the class-action, and $5 billion in punitive damages.
The company said the settlement would result in a $2.5 billion fine for Pfizer and $1.5 billion for the remaining class-action settlement.
The settlement also includes $2.4 billion in other costs, and $1.5 billion in a settlement share of the class-action settlement, Pfizer said.
The class-action lawsuit, filed on behalf of more than 3,700 people, alleges that Lilly paid for the company's marketing of Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra, which are erectile dysfunction drugs that were not approved by the U. Food and Drug Administration for such uses.
Pfizer said it had notified Pfizer of the settlement through its U. and European subsidiary, Pfizer North America Inc., and that it would pay $3.9 billion to settle the class-action allegations.
Pfizer said the settlement is in addition to other settlements it has been endure, such as a $5 billion fine for the company, a $6 billion settlement to pay the company's share price, and $3 billion in punitive damages.
It also faces a new class-action lawsuit brought by more than 11,500 people alleging that Pfizer and its employees conspired to fix the company's financial performance by paying for its manufacturing of Viagra and Cialis.
The class-action lawsuit was filed in federal court in Philadelphia on Wednesday, after a federal judge dismissed the allegations against Pfizer and other companies.
The settlement is the result of a five-day jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The class-action suit alleges that Pfizer and its former employees, including its executives, had paid for marketing, manufacturing, and distributing the drugs and the alleged deals between the companies.
The lawsuit was filed by more than 700 plaintiffs who allege that Pfizer was in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Fair trade Practice Act. The settlement also includes $1.5 billion in additional punitive damages, a $3.9 billion settlement to compensate the class for the losses suffered by the plaintiffs.
The class-action complaint was filed in Philadelphia in September and is being pursued by U. District Judge Joseph R. Rea with the potential to order additional jury trial in the case.
In June, the government began an inquiry into whether the company violated federal laws by marketing prescription drugs, including Viagra, which are used to treat erectile dysfunction.
In June, Pfizer and its marketing partner, Bayer AG, were found liable in a suit in Philadelphia federal court for allegedly conspiring to fix the company's financial performance by paying for marketing of the drugs.
A federal judge in Philadelphia imposed a $2.5 billion civil fine on Pfizer and other companies that marketed the drugs. The class-action lawsuit alleges that Pfizer and its former employees had paid for marketing of the drugs, and that the company had paid for sales of the drugs.
The judge also ordered the company to pay the rest of the class for losses caused by the drugs and other related damages.
In January, the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA, the U. Food and Drug Administration, the U. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services took legal action against the company, alleging that its marketing practices were illegal and in violation of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Fair Trade Practice Act.
In November, the FDA, the FDA and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services began investigations into the company's marketing practices. The agency has also alleged that the companies' conduct violated the Federal Trade Commission Act, and the Food and Drug Administration.
The FDA has also alleged that the companies' conduct violated the Hatch-Waxman Act, the Federal Trade Commission Act and the Food and Drug Administration Act.
The FDA said in a statement it had "prohibited the company's marketing of the products in violation of the Hatch-Waxman Act.

In the United States, Viagra is widely prescribed by medical professionals to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and to help men achieve and maintain erections. However, its availability in Canada has expanded rapidly, providing men who may be struggling with erectile dysfunction with the possibility of obtaining Viagra as soon as they begin taking the medication. As of now, Viagra Canada is the only online pharmacy that offers Canadian customers the option to purchase the medication from the United States and Canada without a prescription. The Canadian pharmacy will only sell generic Viagra and its generic equivalent, called generic Cialis, which are the most commonly used drugs in the U. S. and Canada. In Canada, Canadian pharmacies are typically located in cities that are less than a thousand miles apart from one another. While Canadian pharmacies may be able to provide medications from the U. and Canada, many of these pharmacies do not provide any medications at all.
